With its truly avant-garde teaching methods, the École de français of the Faculté de l'éducation permanente provides a dynamic education adapted to the varied needs of the students.
You can choose between evening courses, Saturday courses or intensive day courses. The École de français also offers a Certificate in French as a Second Language which can be put towards a Bachelor's degree.

The Centre de communication écrite (CCE) offers more than 20 workshops. These free 2-hour workshops introduce you to essential writing tools, tackle specific language and writing issues, and offer creative writing activities. Three of these workshops are specifically designed for non-francophones.
Registration in these free workshops is mandatory
Through the CCE, students can use the resources of the Centre d'aide en français (French Language Help Centre) and the linguistic tools available on its Web site.
Undergraduate students whose previous studies were not conducted entirely in French will be required to write an exam to test their knowledge of French.
The Service d'action humanitaire et communautaire (Community and Humanitarian Action Services) organises language pairings. If you wish to become more proficient in French, or in another language for that matter, this is the place for you. Nothing could be easier!
