The Service d'orientation et de consultation psychologique (SOCP) provides students with resources in four areas:
Your goal is to improve your study methods, develop your personal skills, narrow down your career options or obtain information about academic programs? The SOCP takes all the possible steps to provide you with the necessary support and give you the tools you need to succeed.
The Centre de communication écrite (CCE) offers more than 20 workshops. These free 2-hour workshops introduce you to essential writing tools, tackle specific language and writing issues, and offer creative writing activities. Three of these workshops are specifically designed for non-francophones.
Registration in these free workshops is mandatory
Through the CCE, students can use the resources of the Centre d'aide en français (French Language Help Centre) and the linguistic tools available on its Web site.
With two dozen locations on campus, the library network of the Université de Montréal holds some four million documents of all kinds. Services include access to various information banks and the Internet on many workstations provided for student use. The libraries offer services for the disabled.
