Université de Montréal congratulates Claude Léger

Montreal, June 19, 2006 – Luc Vinet, Rector of the Université de Montréal, offers his congratulations to Claude Léger, Vice-rector Administration and Finance, for his appointment as Director General of the City of Montreal. “This is a unique opportunity for Mr. Léger to utilize his exceptional qualifications. His human and professional qualities were a wonderful asset to the development of the Université de Montréal, and while I regret his departure, I wish him the best of luck in this new challenge for which he is more than qualified.”

Mr. Léger will continue in his role as Vice-Rector until August 1.
