Quebec Students

Quebec students must:

  • have Canadian citizenship, permanent resident status or refugee status; and
  • be residents of Quebec.

UdeM's registrar's office (Registrariat) determines if a student is a Quebec resident or not. Please send your related questions to: admissions@regis.umontreal.ca.

Tuition (per session)

Undergraduate

  • $58.94 per credit

Master's and Doctoral Levels

  • Full time: $884.10 $ (equivalent of 15 credits)
  • Half time: $442.05 (equivalent of 7.5 credits)
  • Part time: based on the number of credits
  • Thesis preparation: $312.00 per session
  • Correction and evaluation: no tuition fees — only fees for temporary status (between thesis submission and acceptance)

Medical residents

  • $1,021.43 per session

Financial aid

UdeM offers a full range of resources for students requiring financial assistance. Many scholarships are also awarded to students with an outstanding academic performance. Employment services

Students looking for a job upon completion of their studies, a part-time job or a summer job can visit UdeM's employment office (Service universitaire de l'emploi) which offers a number of free activities related to the job market, including job search workshops, meetings with potential employers and career days.
