Sophie Langlois holds a bachelor's degree in Communications (public relations concentration) from the Université du Québec à Montréal. She began her career with a public relations agency before becoming UdeM’s press officer and spokesperson in 2000 and senior director of media relations in 2005. Since 2010, she has been executive director of the Office of Communications and Public Relations (BCRP). Ms. Langlois sits on the university's Executive Committee and the Toponymy Committee.
