The Process

The university community was consulted prior to drafting the statement of principles on freedom of expression at the university.

The Task Force also drew on a variety of reference materials, including the report on academic freedom in an inclusive university by Jean-François Gaudreault-DesBiens (in French) and the letter from the Rector to the UdeM community.

Consultation: Task Force members receive written comments and meet with people who wished to speak on the issue

Status report presented by the Chair of the Task Force to the University Assembly on March 15

Final report submitted to the University Assembly
