The cornerstone of the new MIL campus, the Science Complex is the first phase in the deployment of this major university complex, located at the intersection of several Montréal neighbourhoods.
The first building on the MIL campus is home to four departments in the Faculty of Arts and Science: chemistry, physics, geography and biological sciences. The University plans to open two new wings in the coming years, to house the departments of mathematics and statistics and computer science and operations research.

Wing A of the Science Complex has five storeys and 11 classrooms, including 6 auditoriums.
Wing B of the Science Complex is home to close to 190 cutting-edge research labs and scientific facilities.
The library has 330 spaces for individual work, 13 rooms for teamwork and a visualization lab with 27 screens.
